Senior Full Stack Developer (m/f/d)

Movinga is Europe's leading full service moving platform and our goal is to bring people into a new home with the best possible booking and moving experience. We bring customers and partners together to create a better moving experience and set new standards in quality, efficiency and service on the moving market.

The job is located in Berlin- if you are not in Berlin yet, you need to relocate :-)

The starting process is splitted in two phases: Freelancing for 1 month. If we met expectations on both sides we will then start the employment contract. We are very happy to help you with the visa. For moving to Berlin it is necessary to have enough money for the flights, the deposit for a flat and maybe the money for the first month rental.

Tasks

Your responsibilities

  • Build new features in a dynamic startup environment using the latest technologies
  • Take ownership of features, starting with an idea, going through the implementation, following the production deployment and continuously monitoring
  • Advise on architecture choices and tools
  • Be creative and push new concepts forward

  • Technologies: Postgres, NodeJS, ReactJS, Gatsby and NextJS
  • Tools: AWS, GitHub, Netlify, Heroku
  • Principles: Lean, Service-oriented Architecture, Data Driven, Transparency, Cross-functional Teams

Requirements

You are perfect with us if ...

  • You have 4+ years of Javascript experience, ideally a medior position
  • You love everything related with Javascript
  • You have 2+ years experience in working in a startup environment, you like to work without proper processes
  • You have a good understanding of front-end and back-end concepts and frameworks
  • You can write out your own SQL queries
  • You enjoy being pushed out of the comfort zone
  • You are happy to learn and explore new technologies and challenges
  • You like to build upon existing solutions and use modern technologies and frameworks
  • You have previous experience with Salesforce
  • You have previous experience with Heroku Connect
  • You can cope with some Java and Ruby from time to time
  • You inspire your colleagues
